It is not often that I work on small tables. I tend to paint larger pieces like buffets and dressers. This week I have had a chance to paint some smaller tables. It has been a nice change up for me and I really enjoyed using some bold colors!
This lovely Victorian table was painted in General Finishes Red Pepper (sadly a discontinued color). The drawer did not originally have a knob but I thought it needed one. I'm always looking for a excuse to use cute hardware. This turquoise knob was purchased last year from Target. I lined the drawer with a colorful Ikat fabric. Yum!
Next up is this 3 drawer nightstand. This piece is so classic and I thought Navy Blue suited it well. I used General Finishes Coastal Blue which I think is the perfect Navy. A nice coordinating damask fabric lines the drawers.
This little cutie is more of a stand than a table. I think it would be adorable with a pumpkin on top! I wish I had had one handy for the pictures. I painted it General Finishes Patina Green. A bold and beautiful Turquoise.
I didn't quite have them ready in time to go to a booth this weekend, so they will be available in the warehouse for now. University Pickers and The Crafty Behr are both having their Fall Open House tomorrow. There is will be giveaways, food, fun and of course shopping. All of us vendors have been restocking and fluffing for the special event. I hope you can make it out!
