Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

This secretary has been in the garge for quite a while. She had door issues, they didnt open or close well at all. Did I mention they were a bit warped and had some broken pieces? That top piece, it didnt fit either and was broken off on each side. Pictures are deceiving, trust me!So I decided to take them off and fill the holes. Now we have a secretary bookcase instead of a secretary cabinet :). Here is the before pic~
I took off the offending parts, sanded, and painted with Martha Stewart Nutshell. I distressed and glazed with brown glaze. The insides were sprayed with some blue I had on hand at the time. The back and drawers are lined with fabric.Add some new hardware and there you have it. It doesn't even look like the same piece!
