Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

This French Country style dresser was a special order for a client. It is truly one of my favorite makeovers ever. Here is how she started
The old paint had to be stripped. This was no easy task! I use Citristrip gel for all of my stripping projects.
After stripping and sanding I primed and painted with Ben Moore Shady Lane. The top was finished with Minwax Dark Walnut. I distressed and glazed with Valspar Asphaltum glaze and finished the whole piece with 2 coats of polyurethane.
