  • For my SotchBlue project I used this old piano bench, it was a thrift  store find a few months back.
I knew I wanted to do stipes and I was going to line the bottom with some cute fabric. My orange and aqua color inspiration came from this fabric

I started by painting the entire bench aqua
Then I used my ScotchBlue Painter's Tape with Edge-Lock Paint Line Protector, so kindly provided by the Scotch Blue team, to make my stripes

I painted the entire top orange
After some distressing and a heavy coat of glaze here she is

FYI~ for this type of distressing I use a flat head screwdriver

I finished this piece with a coat of lacquer which caused the painted to pucker a bit in places, I love the look of it!
