Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

What do you think of this? I am totally loving it! I picked up this sweet credenza at auction a while back. I really wanted to do something fun for this piece and bring out all of those gorgeous details. Here is the before, I had already removed the door knocker handles. One day I will get better with these before shots!
I filled the holes, primed, painted, glazed and finished with Wipe on Poly. I used pretty crystal knobs for hardware, from Hobby Lobby of course! They were actually too short, usually it's the opposite problem. This was a bummer for me because this piece needed those knobs. When I don't know what to do I always go into my hubbys garage and look over his tools. I noticed a chisel, lightbulb! I ended up using the chisel and a hammer to remove a piece of wood behind each hole. You can't see it because the two side doors are faux, the knob fit on the"real" door ~ go figure. I was really impressed with myself over that one!
Of course I thought she needed a little something on the inside. I added fabric to the back using the same method as here.
