Green Apple Pizazz Credenza Makeover

Good morning! I am so excited to be sharing another furniture makeover this week. Remember the trashpile dresser? Well it sold the same day I listed it on Craigslist, so I was very motivated to start my next project. I bought this 1970's credenza at an auction ( have I mentioned how much I love auctions?), it was in good condition and I loved the detail on the doors.

Here is the before picture. I truly abhor pecan wood. At least that what I think the wood is that has those little black specks in it. So this little girl was pretty UUUUUUUGGGLLY, in my humble opinion.

I sanded, primed and then painted the body with Valspar Pistachio. I used chalkboard paint for the top, I thought that added a fun touch!

To glaze or not to glaze? A silly question if you ask me! Of course I glazed her up~

Here she is in a her bright, bold glory! I was going to wait until I got some chalk to post, but I was too impatient~
